Venice School of Music was started in 2009 by Lauren Pardini (originally called Los Angeles Vocal Studio) in Venice and Culver City. At the moment, we have a large teaching studio in Venice on the border of Santa Monica and Mar Vista. Currently we offer piano, voice and songwriting lessons- VSOM will be offering guitar  in Summer 2021. The studio goal is to provide lessons for all walks of life ranging in all styles, voice types and genres. All levels are welcomed and encouraged here. We offer remote, in-person and in-studio lessons.  If you are interested in lessons in the comfort of your home, prices for in-home lessons available upon request. 

A bit about Lauren! In 2019, she was nominated for a Grammy as a songwriter for her work on George Anne Muldrow's "Overload" in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category.

 ​Professionally, Lauren has worked as a singer, songwriter, keyboardist and vocal coach for Columbia, Island/Def Jam, Aftermath, Sony/Epic, Atlantic, Universal Records, Marvel & Jimmy Kimmel Show. Master classes have ranged from teaching at the ASCAP Expo, the DIY Convention in Austin, TX and throughout colleges in China from Beijing to Chengdu. She has he scored a documentary for Marvel Comics which aired on primetime ABC called "From Pulp to Pop" as well a placements on The Babysitter's Club, Grey's Anatomy, Scream,Shameless, iZombie and Go Pro. Her voice and songs have been licensed to networks such as Lifetime, Oxygen, MTV, E!, ABC and NBC including singing on tracks for such artists as Purity Ring, and A$AP Ferg, Lonely Island and Nas. Her band has been featured on Spotify's New Music Friday 4 times and as well as garnering over 4 million plays on Spotify and a million plays on soundcloud. She earned her Bachelors of Music in Voice from NYU and her Masters of Music from USC's Thornton School of Music as well a certificate in Audio Engineering from Musicians Institute. In addition, Lauren is a certified Life Coach focused on social media strategy and the important of output and productivity in her artists.

Her eclectic pedagogic technique is rooted in years of working in several styles in order to keep up with industry demand. Her students have been accepted at LACHSA, UC Irvine, Montclair,Belmont College of Music, USC and the Musicians Institute to name a few. Some artists she has worked with include Zacari, Lil Dicky & Bekon.  Lauren is proficient with Logic & Ableton. She is currently on the staff at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA.
